Andy Carey had a career day at the Yankees trounced the Red Sox to wrap up a two game sweep. Carey was a perfect five for five with two homers, a double, four RBIs and three runs. Elston Howard also had a nice day at the plate and he went three for five with a double, two runs and two RBIs. Moose Skowron had just one single, but he drove in three runs.
Bob Turley bounced back from his first loss of the season and he improved to 8-1. He gave up four runs on five hits and four walks with ten strikeouts in the complete game win.
