Bob Turley Improves to 7-0 In Yankees Tenth Straight Win

Yankees 8, Tigers 1  (23-5)

Bob Turley did it again and his pitching along with a ton of hitting pushed the Yankees to their tenth straight win.  He improved to 7-0 and he gave up one run on six hits and four walks with two strikeouts in the complete game.

Gil McDougald and Elston Howard both homered and drove in three runs.  Yogi Berra pitched in with a two run shot in the eighth inning.
