Catfish Hunter Pummelled In Loss to Brewers

Brewers 9, Yankees 6  (1-3)

The Yankees put six runs on the board and outhit the Brewers but still lost their for the third time in four games to open up the season.  Catfish Hunter made his season debut and it was a rough one as he gave up six runs on six hits in just two innings of work.  Rawley Eastwick and Ken Clay also gave up runs in the loss as well.

Willie Randolph had a big day at the plate.  He went two for five with a three run homer.  Thurman Munson went four for five with a double, a run and an RBI.
