Dick Tidrow Has Tough Start, Yankees Drop Third Straight Series

Angels 9, Yankees 6  (32-24)

The Yankees lost their third straight series out on the west coast as Dick Tidrow and the pen all had a rough outing.  Tidrow gave up three runs in 1 2/3 innings while Ken Clay fell to 1-3 and he gave up four runs in 2 2/3 frames.

Graig Nettles and Roy White both went deep in this one.  White finished with both two runs and two RBIs while Graig Nettles homered, doubled, scored twice and drove in one.
