Yankees 3, Orioles 0  (14-5)

Don Larsen did it all as the Yankees got right back to winning with the Orioles in town.  Larsen gave up just four hits and four walks with a strikeout in the shutout and he also helped out his own cause with a perfect day at the plate. He went two for two with a walk, a homerun and two runs.

Hank Bauer doubled and drove in two in the win.  Norm Siebern went three for four with two doubles and a run.
