Ed Figueroa Holds Twins to Five Hits In Yankees Third Straight Win

Yankees 3, Twins 1  (9-8)

The Yankees won their third straight and it was the first time this season where they had a winning record.  Ed Figueroa was the player of the game with a solid complete game win.  He gave up just one run on five hits and three walks with one strikeout and the win improved his record to 3-1 on the season.

Bucky Dent singled twice, scored and drove in a run in the win.  Mickey Rivers had two hits, a walk and an RBI
