Mickey Rivers Powers Yankees to Win Over Cubs

Yankees 3, White Sox 2  (3-4)

Mickey Rivers belted a two run blast in the bottom of the eighth inning to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 win for the Yankees.  Jim Spencer drove in the other run with a solo shot in fourth inning.  It was his second long ball of the season.

Ed Figueroa improved to 2-0 with a nice start.  He gave up two runs on twelve hits with two strikeouts in the complete game win.
