Mike Torrez Is Hit Hard In Loss to Brewers

Brewers 6, Yankees 3  (51-44)

Mike Torrez fell to 8-10 on the season with a tough start in the Yankees second straight loss to the Brewers.  He gave up five runs on eight hits and three walks with three strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.  Sparky Lyle was also tagged for a run in the seventh inning and he got just one batter out.

Graig Nettles hit homerun number 22.  He went two for four and he drove in two runs.  Reggie Jackson had a nice game as well and he went three for four with two doubles, a run and an RBI.
