April 10, 1967 at Yankee Stadium

Brewers 2, Yankees 1  (1-2)

The Yankees lost another tough as the Brewers edged them for the series win.  The game was tied heading into the ninth and Don Gullett appeared to go one inning to long because he gave up the go winning run after eight solid innings.  He took the loss and he gave up two runs on seven hits and four walks with five strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings.  Both runs scored off of him were solo homeruns.

The only run for the Yankees came in the second inning.  Carlos May singled and then he scored on Willie Randolph’s triple.
