Reggie Jackson Drives In Four Runs In Yankees Win

Yankees 8, Indians 3  (84-54)

Reggie Jackson had a huge day at the plate as the Yankees got back on track with a win.  He went two for four with a homerun and four RBIs.  The homerun brings his season total up to 24 on the season.  Lou Piniella also went yard with his tenth homerun.

Dick Tidrow improved to 9-4 with a nice start. He gave up two runs on five hits and six walks with one strikeout in 5 1/3 innings.  Sparky Lyle gave up one run on six hits with two walks with two strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings to earn his 22nd save of the season.
