Reggie Jackson Hits Two Homeruns In Yankees Third Straight Win

Yankees 9, Rangers 2  (30-23)

Reggie Jackson led the Yankees in a blowout win against the Rangers in their series opener.  He went two for five with two homeruns and four RBIs.  Willie Randolph went three for five with a double, two runs and two RBIs. 

Catfish Hunter went the distance and he improved to 2-3 on the season. He gave up two runs on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
