Reggie Jackson Leads Yankees to Win Over Rangers

Yankees 7, Rangers 1  (1-1)

The Yankees won their first game of the season behind a nice hitting day by their World Series hero, Reggie Jackson.  The slugger went four for five with two doubles, an RBI and two runs.  Chris Chambliss also had a nice game and he went three for four with two RBIs and a run.

Ed Figueroa got it done on the mound and he improved to 1-0.  He gave up one run on three hits with two strikeouts in the complete game win.
