Ron Guidry was hit hard and he took his first loss of the season in a tough start against the White Sox.  He gave up six runs on six hits and four walks with three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings of work.

Lou Piniella hit a solo homerun which was his first homer of the season.  Graig Nettles went two for three and he drove in two runs in the loss.
