Ron Guidry Is Shelled In Yankees Loss

Blue Jays 7, Yankees 6  (40-32)

The Yankees four game winning streak came to an end as Ron Guidry had a tough time against the expansion Blue Jays.  He gave up seven runs on seven hits and four walks with seven strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings.

Mickey Rivers went two for five with two RBIs and a run.  Thurman Munson went two for four including his tenth homerun of the season.
