Ron Guidry Throws Three Hit Shutout

Yankees 7, Royals 0  (36-26)

Ron Guidry made short work of the Royals as he improved to 5-2 on the season with a three hit shutout.  He walked two and struck out seven in one of his most impressive starts of the season.

Mickey Rivers had a huge day at the plate.  He went three for four with a homer, two RBIs and three runs.  Bucky Dent also had a nice game with two singles and two runs.
