Roy White Drives Home Winning Run In Yankees Twelve Inning Win

Yankees 4, Brewers 3  (6-7)

The Yankees scored runs in the tenth and twelth inning to walk away with an extra inning win over the Brewers.  Roy White singled home the winning run in the twelth in the exciting contest.  Willie Randolph also had a big at bat with a sac. fly in the bottom of the tenth to keep the game going.  Graig Nettles also had a nice hits with a pair of singles and two runs.

Dick Tidrow kept the Yankees in the game with a nice start.  He gave up two runs on six hits and five walks in nine innings.  Sparky Lyle picked up the win and he improved to 2-0.  He gave up one run on two hits with a strikeout in three solid frames.
