Whitey Ford Throws Three Hitter, Yankees Snap Four Game Skid

Yankees 4, Indians 0  (36-19)

The Yankees snapped their four game losing streak behind an exceptional three hit shutout by Whitey Ford.  He gave up just the three hits with two walks and he struck out ten.

Moose Skowron had the big blast with three run homer in the sixth inning.  Hank Bauer went three for four and he scored one of the Yankees runs.
