April 30, 1977 at Yankee Stadium
Yankees 7, Mariners 2 (11-9)
After a horrible first half of April, the Yankees closed out the month with nine wins in the last ten games. This time it was the offense that got it going. Thurman Munson and Reggie Jackson each hit their third homeruns of the season and Willie Randolph drove in two runs. All seven runs were scored by different Yankees and the Yankees scored all seven of their runs in the first three innings.
Ed Figueroa coasted to an easy win and he evened his record to 2-2. He gave up two runs on seven hits and four walks with three strikeouts in nine innings of work.
