Yankees 6, Tigers 4 (43-34)
The Yankees came back from a 4-1 deficit to beat the Tigers in a hard fought win. Roy White doubled home two runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game up and then Fred Stanley belted a two run homer in the bottom of the eighth to give the Yankees their game winning runs.
