The Yankees blew out the Rangers to win their sixth straight game and it was behind a solid outing by Mike Torrez.  He gave up one run on four hits and five walks with two strikeouts in the complete game win.  He improved his record to 14-10 on the season with the nice start.

Reggie Jackson belted his 22nd homer and he drove in three runs.  Roy White also went yard and he finished the game with three runs.
