Yankees Cut Magic Number Down Seven Behind Solid Start By Don Gullett

Don Gullett improved to 13-4 with a nice start as the Yankees came one step closer to clinching the American League East.  He gave up three runs on five hits with an impressive thirteen strikeouts in the win.

Graig Nettles was the hitting star.  He went two for four with a homerun and two RBIs.  Thurman Munson went three for four a run.
