Yankees End Skid, Ron Guidry Improves to 9-0

Yankees 9, Mariners 1  (31-22)

The Yankees snapped their four game skid in their series finale with the Mariners.  Reggie Jackson had a big game with a pair of homers and three RBIs.  Roy White and Bucky Dent both went yard in the game as well.

Ron Guidry proved to be the stopped and he improved to 9-0.  He gave up one run on six hits and two walks with ten strikeouts in the complete game win.
