Yankees 9, Indians 3  (25-14)

The Yankees ran up the score once again on the Indians in what was their fourth straight win.  Bucky Dent had a nice day at the plate with two singles and two RBIs while Reggie Jackson went two for four with a walk, a triple, a stolen base, an RBI and two runs.

Dick Tidrow gave the Yankees their second complete game in as many days.  The win improved his record to 3-3 and he gave up three runs on eight hits and a walk with one strikeout.
