August 16, 1977 at Yankee Stadium
Yankees 11, White Sox 10 (67-50)
The Yankees blew a five run lead in the top of ninth only to come back and win it with a two run walk off homer in the bottom of the ninth by Chris Chambliss. Chris Chambliss finished the game with three runs and three RBIs while Buck Dent went two for four with a double, three RBIs and a run.
Ron Guidry and Sparky Lyle each gave up three runs in that disastrous ninth inning. It was Ken Clay who got the final out and he picked up his first win of the season.
