May 9, 1958 at Yankee Stadium
Yankees 9, Senators 5  (11-4)

After almost a week off because of tough weather, Bob Turley got started exactly where he left off in this one. Despite his worst start of the season, he improved to 4-0.  He gave up five runs (four earned) on seven hits and six walks with nine strikeouts in another complete game.

Turley helped out his own cause with an eighth inning solo homer.  Yogi Berra had a big game with a single, a homerun, three RBIs and two runs while Mickey Mantle went three for five with a homerun and two runs scored.
